The Peace in Practice National Listening Study
RESEARCHWe listen to Christian leaders, study the field of peacebuilding, and explore the questions that shape the Church's public witness. Our research informs practical tools, shared learning, and new ways of understanding peacebuilding in today's world.
Peace in Practice
National Listening Study
The Peace in Practice Project was a national research and listening initiative completed in 2026. The study explored how Christian leaders engage with conflict and division, the challenges they face, and the practices, resources, and support they need to thrive.
Rather than relying on assumed answers or abstract theories, the Peace in Practice Project centered the lived experiences of Christian leaders themselves. By listening closely to their stories, questions, and struggles, we identified what helps leaders transform conflict, foster unity and reconciliation, and live out their calling as peacebuilders in complex and divided contexts.

Rose Castle Capstone Gathering
COLLABORATIONWe connect leaders, organizations, and institutions across the Christian peacebuilding ecosystem to cultivate relationships, deepen shared learning, and enable collective action. Together, these communities strengthen the Church’s capacity to embody peacebuilding in how it lives, leads, and engages the world.
Christian Peacebuilding Collaborative
The Christian Peacebuilding Collaborative brings together organizations serving churches, ministries, educational institutions, and communities across North America. Rather than duplicating efforts, the Collaborative cultivates relationships, shared learning, and strategic collaboration to strengthen the Christian peacebuilding ecosystem.
The Collaborative is currently being established through an invited pilot cohort. Following a period of learning and refinement, the Collaborative is expected to open to additional organizations in late 2028 or early 2029.

The Anatomy
of Peacebuilding
A practical framework for understanding the journey from conflict to sustainable peace.
The Anatomy of Peacebuilding provides a shared language for the unique roles, practices, and relationships that contribute to lasting peace. Rather than viewing peacebuilding as a single activity, the framework shows how crisis response, long-term restoration, and preventive formation work together within a healthy ecosystem.
It also helps churches, organizations, funders, and practitioners discern where they are called to serve and how their work complements others.

(Re)union 2027 Gathering
GATHERINGSCPCT serves as a convener and catalyst for the Christian peacebuilding field. As such, we help Christian leaders, practitioners, scholars, and organizations build the confidence and competence to navigate spaces of division, distrust, and difference. Through conferences, cohorts, and collaborative conversations, we cultivate the relational and learning capital that makes lasting peace possible.
(Re)union 2027 Gathering
Hosted by the CPCT at Fuller Seminary, (Re)union 2027 is an invitation to pause, reconnect, and find restoration among fellow peacebuilders. Together, we will attend to our own need for renewal and the renewal of the people, institutions, and communities through which God brings healing and hope.
Together, we will not only attend to our own, individual need for renewal, but also to the renewal of the broader ecosystem of people, institutions, and communities through which God brings healing and hope.
