Strengthening the Church's capacity for peacebuilding begins with stronger relationships.

The Christian Peacebuilding Collaborative is a community of organizations committed to learning together, collaborating across traditions and sectors, and strengthening the Christian peacebuilding ecosystem for the benefit of the Church and the communities it serves.

WHY THE FELLOWSHIP EXISTS

Across the Christian peacebuilding landscape, faithful organizations are helping churches and communities navigate conflict, cultivate trust, and bear witness to the peace of Christ. Yet much of this work happens independently, limiting opportunities to share learning, strengthen partnerships, and respond together to the challenges facing the Church.

The Christian Peacebuilding Collaborative (CPC) exists to cultivate the relationships, trust, and shared learning that enable the Christian peacebuilding ecosystem to flourish.

FOUNDING ORGANIZATIONS

CPC is beginning with a small cohort of founding organizations representing diverse Christian traditions, ministries, and approaches to peacebuilding.

Together, they are helping shape the collaborative's culture, shared learning, and long-term vision. Their experience during this initial pilot will inform how the collaborative grows and serves the broader Christian peacebuilding field in the years ahead.

THE PILOT

CPC is currently being launched through a three-year pilot with an initial cohort of approximately 15–20 organizations. During this phase, participants will help shape the network’s shared practices, learning culture, and long-term design.

Following this initial period of learning and refinement, we anticipate welcoming additional organizations beginning in late 2028 or early 2029.

  • The Christian Peacebuilding Collaborative is beginning with an inaugural cohort of approximately 15–20 organizations. This pilot phase is designed to cultivate trust, establish shared practices, and learn together before expanding to serve the broader Christian peacebuilding ecosystem.

  • Founding organizations were invited because they represent diverse Christian traditions, areas of expertise, and approaches to peacebuilding. Together, they are helping shape the Collaborative's culture, learning, and long-term vision.

  • We anticipate opening the Collaborative to additional organizations following the completion of the pilot phase, currently expected in late 2028 or early 2029. The expansion of the pilot to other organizations will come from a combination of recommendations from founding members, Fuller faculty and alumni, and organizations known to the Center through participation in CPCT events and gatherings.

  • Yes. The Collaborative is designed for organizations, including but not limited to: nonprofit organizations, ministries, academic institutions, and even some for-profit businesses. Individuals are encouraged to engage with the Collaborative through CPCT events, publications, research, and other initiatives.

  • Yes. The Collaborative’s first few years are intentionally focused on organizations serving the United States as we learn, refine, and strengthen the model. Following the pilot, we anticipate expanding to include organizations from other regions of the world, creating new opportunities for mutual learning and collaboration across the global Church.
