ABOUT

Greta L. Bennett served over twenty-five years in the U.S. Army and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Public Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary, under the mentorship of Dr. Sebastian Kim. Her educational background spans a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University, a Master of Public Administration from Troy State University, a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller, and a certification in Nonprofit Management from the University of Tampa. Her doctoral work centers on the intersection of public theology and healthcare, specifically examining how safety-net hospitals and health disparities among African American women can indicate the need for the church to engage in healthcare reform. Greta L. Bennett is involved several nonprofit organizations, is a published author, contributor to VOICES from Our Daily Bread Ministries, and previously hosted the podcast “Caregiving Is a Ministry.”
