OCTOBER 19-21

Location:

Hosted by the Center for Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation at Fuller Seminary, (Re)union 2026 is a gathering of those called to shape the Church’s witness of reconciliation—through connection, discernment, and shared work.
Rooted in the Christian attributes of Beauty, Goodness, and Truthfulness, this year’s gathering will be a time to learn and discern together what God is rebuilding, renewing, and restoring through His people.
“Beauty That Rebuilds” is not just another conference on peacebuilding. It is a gathering for those ready to help shape what comes next. Therefore, we invite you to come prepared to join us not as a spectator, but as an active contributor to a new era of peace.
(Re)union 2026 is not another passive conference experience. It is a high-trust gathering where connection, discernment, and shared purpose form the foundation for peace that endures.
What is (Re)union?
Grounded in the Christian commitments to beauty, goodness, and truth, (Re)union 2026 is a space to reawaken the moral and creative imagination needed to see—and build—the future of faith-inspired peace.
Yet, these are not abstract ideals. They are the very qualities of God reflected in creation and revealed in Christ. Yet they can be among the most challenging attributes to sustain in the quest for sustainable peace. As such, this gathering aims to explore and identify the practices and attitudes that can help us maintain them.
What You Can Expect
Beauty That Rebuilds carries the intensity and momentum of a catalytic experience—designed for an intimate community where deep connection is not a byproduct, but the foundation for building lasting peace.
Over three days, you will experience:
Deep Connection: Small, intentional gatherings that prioritize meaningful conversation over passive listening. Every participant’s voice matters.
Generative Collaboration: You will not just hear ideas—you will help shape them, co-creating pathways toward unity and peace.
Inspiration in Action: Sessions, dialogues, and exercises designed to spark imagination, reflection, and practical application.
A Growing Network: Leave not just with insights, but with relationships and connections that continue to shape your work long after the gathering ends.
Faith in Practice: Grounded in beauty, goodness, and truth, the experience invites the Church to live out reconciliation in tangible, transformational ways.
Who This is For
The (Re)union is for you if:
You want to move beyond conversation into action, joining others to discern, build, and advance peace.
You value deep, personal connections as the primary vehicle for change.
You are ready to contribute your experience, perspective, and gifts to a growing network of Christian peacebuilders.
You are inspired by the Church’s potential to embody reconciliation in tangible ways, locally and globally.
If you are longing for a hopeful, grounded, and practical vision of Christian peacemaking, this gathering is for you.
⎯⎯ TRACK ONE
The Beautiful
Rebuilders in the Ruins: Beauty as a creative act of resistance
This track highlights stories of creative courage emerging from war-torn, persecuted, and divided regions of the world.
Anchored by community murals of hope and peace, participants will explore how artistic imagination rebuilds trust and re-humanizes the other.
⎯⎯TRACK TWO
The Good
Goodness takes form in the rhythms of community and shared life together
This track invites pastors, practitioners, and leaders to re-center formation around humility, community, and love of neighbor.
Guided by worship rooted in “The Blessing” (Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Elevation Worship), we will learn to lead congregations and communities that embody the goodness of Christ in times of conflict and peace.
⎯⎯TRACK THREE
The True
Human dignity and the Imago Dei: Reclaiming the divine image together
This track explores how the doctrine of the Imago Dei shapes our public life, our places of work, and our relationships.
Drawing on “Imago Dei: Human Dignity in Ecumenical Perspective” (Thomas Albert Howard, ed.), participants will discern, learn, and practice ways to help those around us bear truthful witness to the divine image in all people.
Event Details
(Re)union 2026 is designed to begin before we gather in person. In the months and weeks leading up to the event, registered participants will be invited to take part in optional, pre-event activities that help cultivate shared language, posture, and expectation.
These offerings are meant to prepare hearts and minds—not add to busy calendars (see the “Pre-(Re)union Events” tab below).
